GBCe (Green Building Council España) is an autonomous organization, member of the World Green Building Council, WGBC. GBC España has currently been recognized as an Established Council of this organization. This organization offers an Enviromental Certificate “VERDE” to those buildings which prove a reduction of their environmental, economic and social impact, during their life span.

The objective in building analysis for VERDE is to quantify the impacts by compiling and adding information during the whole life span of the building. The results allow us to compare the different possibilities by implementing improvements, defining policies, measuring the environmental impact through eco-tags and marketing strategies, documenting certain legal aspects, etc.
