Isla Cristina Central Park
PROJECT: Isla Cristina Central Park
The Central Park of Isla Cristina, covering an area of five hectares, is organized into four large spaces:
- The Amphitheater Park is a collection of meadows, walkways, and groups of trees and shrubs. The amphitheater itself sits in the crater of an artificial hill, its nautical-inspired sail-shaped structure visible from the park and the city.
- The garden of gardens forms the central space. A large perimeter vault, adorned with various climbing species, serves as a shady and cool walkway. A grand promenade connects the different sections (twelve in total), showcasing a variety of plant species. At the end are two rose gardens.
- The access plaza, a facade element of the park, features a large pond 80 meters long, kiosks with a terrace, and marble paving that offers a compass rose.
- Finally, the play area, with facilities for skating, an enclosed space for fair use and a play area for the little ones.
