PROJECT:Jaén Municipal Housing Plan

This Municipal Housing and Land Plan, drafted in accordance with the contents of the LRDV and the PCVS 2008/2012, aims to answer the questions that have arisen regarding the development of housing and land policies.

The main objective is to plan a housing supply that provides a viable response to the demand expressed by the citizens of Jaén, which is expressed through the applications collected in the Municipal Public Registry of Applicants for Protected Housing, more than fifteen hundred at the end of the year, and the results of the "Study on Housing Needs in Jaén", prepared by the Institute of Advanced Social Studies (CSIC).

The present PMVS defines a central and priority objective: to make a concrete and orderly offer of protected housing that gives an effective response to the accredited demand based on the housing needs detected, and must be adjusted to the programs and instruments designed both by the Concerted Housing and Land Plan 2008/2012 of Andalusia and by the State Housing and Rehabilitation Plan.
