PROJECT: Office buildings in Avilés

The project is located on two plots of land that remain free at the head of a group of incubator buildings located in the Príncipe de Asturias Business Estate, in Avilés.

The "finishing" nature of the buildings dictates the project's architecture, which seeks to integrate seamlessly with the existing structure. The aim was to unify the design of the two buildings, not only in terms of construction materials and finishes, but also by conceiving their design as a single façade for the entire complex of incubator buildings. This was achieved by creating a new symmetrical order whose axis is located along the central street of the buildings.

The buildings were separated on the upper floors from the rear party wall to allow light to enter the rear area of ​​the building and to allow cross ventilation in all rooms.

The project designed the flat roofs of the recessed penthouses as landscaped spaces that allow them to be viewed from the premises located on the top floor and at the same time collect and filter rainwater that is reused in the building's sanitary facilities.
