Olivas Health Center

PROJECT: Olivas Health Center, Aranjuez

The Las Olivas Health Center is made up of a succession of three transverse, two-story buildings, parallel to each other, which, leaving open courtyards between them, are "tied" together by a longitudinal building intended for circulation and access, which reaches three stories by housing the air conditioning facilities on the last one.

The interior, the visual sequence of courtyards and exteriors from the longitudinal spine, and the grouping of consultations and/or waiting areas around the landscaped courtyards, constitute the most outstanding environmental episodes of the building.

The main access to the Center is viewed from the upper, more urban level, and closest to the Paseo del Deleite, being carried out through a walkway that, in the shape of a "funnel", properly identifies and qualifies said access.

Opposite the main entrance, at the lower level of the plot, there is another, more secondary entrance intended for the staff of the Center, which connects directly to the parking lot.

The two entrances are connected, on both floors, by longitudinal corridors from which, in a comb-like pattern, distribution corridors branch off to the different sections of the building. Other, more secondary corridors link the ends of the sections, creating a ring-shaped circulation pattern.
