PROJECT: Territorial Planning Plan for the Western Coastal Area of Huelva
The Territorial Planning Plan aims, within the framework of the principles of sustainable development, to regulate the uses and activities of the Western Coast of Huelva in order to optimize territorial resources and improve the well-being and quality of life of the area's inhabitants.
This general aim is specified in a planning model directed towards achieving the following general objectives:
- To enhance the integration of the area in the peninsular south Atlantic territory.
- Improve the internal territorial articulation of the area.
- To reconcile the relationship between different land uses in an orderly manner.
- Improve the conditions for the organization of tourist and holiday activity and its more appropriate territorial integration.
- Organize the production complex around agriculture.
- Protect and enhance natural, scenic and cultural resources.
- To contribute to reducing the incidence of natural and technological risks.
- Establish the basic hydraulic, energy and telecommunications infrastructures that ensure current and projected demands.
