The proposal is to renew the urban scene of Nerja with a criterion of optimizing the response of public space to the real needs of the inhabitants of the historic center of the city, locating on the available land those facilities of a local or general nature whose need is sufficiently verified.

– General improvement of the urban space through its resizing and requalification.
– Continuity and rationalization of the existing road network.
– Re-equipping of the neighborhood, diversifying the range of amenities and complementing existing public facilities.
– Enhancement as a link to the city.

LINES OF ACTION:

– Eliminate or mitigate any physical and functional barriers that may separate it from other nearby residential developments.
– Locate one or more city-level public or private amenities in the area to act as an urban attraction and contribute to the area's revitalization.
– Create an attraction hub by establishing a large commercial area.
– Create a network of public open spaces that connects the different areas of the neighborhood.
– Pedestrian networks that connect the amenities and shops on the ground floor.
– Plazas and parks that serve as the heart of the neighborhood's public life.
