PROJECT: Review of the Subsidiary Regulations of Palos de la Frontera
It provides the municipality with an appropriate planning instrument that replaces the General Urban Development Plan of 1985.
The sorting criteria are:
- Regulate the different forms of land use in order to consolidate a balanced territorial structure, preventing the formation of unwanted population centers and enhancing existing agricultural, natural and landscape values.
- To establish conditions of use and building type in the urban environment consistent with traditional forms, achieving an urban structure in which traditional settlements, new developments and landscape are harmoniously integrated.
- Limit new developments to the land strictly necessary based on foreseeable population growth.
