Upper and Lower Quarters of Sanlúcar de Barrameda

PROJECT: Urban rehabilitation proposal for the Upper and Lower Neighborhoods

The project objectives are:

  • Improved accessibility to the historic center
  • Extension of the pedestrian walkway
  • Facilitate pedestrian accessibility between the two neighborhoods
  • Mechanical transport.
  • Outside the pedestrian road: Resident parking.
  • Strengthen existing activity areas: market and shopping arcade.
  • Create the axis of activity between the activity points of the cornice.
  • Introduce new uses in the specialized uses area.
  • Seeking a mix and complexity of uses: Town Hall, Hotel, Restaurant, Commercial, Public Facilities
  • Improvement of urban space. Re-urbanization. Free up road space from parking, create parking for residents.
