GREEN Certification – GBCe

The GBC Españaf association is an autonomous organization affiliated with the World Green Building Council (WGBC), of which it is the Green Building Council España (GBCe). This organization awards VERDE certification to buildings that demonstrate a reduction in economic, social, and environmental impacts throughout their life cycle, using the VERDE assessment methodology.

The objective of building analysis at VERDE is to quantify the impacts of a building by compiling and summarizing information throughout its entire life cycle. This analysis allows for the comparison of alternatives and the implementation of improvements, the definition of policies, the documentation of environmental impact through the development of ecolabels and marketing strategies, the documentation of compliance with specific legal requirements, and more.

Árgola Arquitectos is a professional company associated with GBCe and has accredited evaluators for the environmental certification of new buildings, both internal and external drafting.
