South Extension Huelva

PROJECT: South Expansion of Huelva

The Ensanche Sur area is located south of Huelva's city center, between it and the Punta del Sebo port industrial zone. Considering the planned relocation of the railway station, which will eliminate the current railway line as a boundary, Ensanche Sur represents the natural growth area for Huelva's historic center.

It enjoys an enviable centrality, reinforced by the fact that it has an urban front on the Odiel Estuary of one thousand (1000) linear meters that represents the main balcony of the city to the estuary.

The General Plan itself detects these features and assigns to this sector functions of urban centrality and a key role in the remodeling of the city as a whole.
